01About This Cookie Policy
Galaxy Ball ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company") uses cookies across our marketing pages, checkout, and signed-in product areas, including Digital Planner Solutions, Productivity Calendar Systems, Smart Notebook Workspace, Goal & Habit Planning Tools, Task Organization Platform, and Workflow & Schedule Management. This policy applies whenever you visit or use any of those surfaces from a browser.
Some information collected through cookies is personal information. Where that is the case, our Privacy Policy applies to that information in addition to this policy, including its sections on retention, security, sharing, and your rights. Nothing in this policy reduces any rights described in the Privacy Policy or in our Terms of Service.
02What Cookies Are

Each cookie typically contains the name of the site that set it, a lifespan, and a value, which is often a randomly generated identifier. On later visits, your browser sends the cookie back to the site that set it, which allows the site to recognize your device, keep you signed in, remember your settings, and understand how the site is being used.
Cookies cannot run programs, install software, or read arbitrary files from your device. They are a standard mechanism used by nearly every modern website. What matters is which cookies a site sets, what they are used for, and how long they last, all of which this policy explains for the Galaxy Ball services.
03Other Tracking Technologies
Alongside cookies, we use a small number of related technologies. Local storage and session storage are browser features that let our applications save data on your device, such as an unsaved draft of a note or the layout of your planner, so the product feels fast and does not lose your work between page loads. Pixels, sometimes called web beacons, are tiny transparent images that we may include in our emails to measure, in aggregate, whether messages such as renewal reminders are being delivered and opened, which helps us send fewer and better messages.
Throughout this policy, the word "cookies" includes these related technologies where the context allows. The consent choices and browser controls described below apply to them in the same way wherever technically possible.
04First-Party and Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are set by the domain you are visiting, in our case the Galaxy Ball websites and applications. The great majority of the cookies we use are first-party cookies with names beginning with the prefix "gb_", set and read only by our own services.
Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one you are visiting. We keep third-party cookies to a minimum: our payment processor may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and secure payment handling, and our analytics provider may set cookies that help us measure aggregate usage. These providers act under contracts that limit how they may use the data, and we do not permit third-party advertising networks to set cookies through our services.
05Categories of Cookies We Use
Every cookie we use falls into one of four categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the services to function at all. They keep your session alive after you sign in, protect forms against forgery, route traffic securely, and record your consent choices. Because the services cannot work without them, these cookies do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our settings.

07How Long Cookies Remain on Your Device
Cookies last for different lengths of time depending on their job. Session cookies exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically when you close it. We use session cookies for sign-in state and security tokens, because those should never outlive your visit. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. We use persistent cookies for things that should survive between visits, such as your consent record, your interface preferences, and analytics identifiers.
We set the shortest lifespans that still serve each purpose, and the maximum duration for any cookie we set is 24 months. Deleting cookies through your browser removes them immediately regardless of their scheduled expiry.
08Consent and Your Choices
When you first visit our site from a region where consent is required, a cookie banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. You can accept all categories, reject all non-essential categories, or make granular choices per category. Strictly necessary cookies remain active in every case because the services cannot function without them. Your decision is stored in the gb_consent cookie so we do not ask again on every page.
You can revisit and change your choices at any time using the cookie settings control available in the footer of our website. Changing your choices takes effect immediately for future cookie activity; cookies already on your device can be removed through your browser as described in the next section. Where consent is not legally required, we still honor the same category controls as a matter of good practice.
09Managing Cookies in Major Browsers
All mainstream browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies. The exact wording varies by version, but the controls are found in similar places:
- Google Chrome — open the menu, choose Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Site settings, where you can block cookies, allow them per site, or clear stored data.
- Mozilla Firefox — open the menu, choose Settings, then Privacy & Security, where the Cookies and Site Data section lets you clear stored cookies and the Enhanced Tracking Protection section controls blocking levels.
- Apple Safari — on a Mac, open Safari's Settings and select the Privacy tab to manage website data and cross-site tracking; on iPhone and iPad, the equivalent controls are in the device Settings app under Safari.
- Microsoft Edge — open the menu, choose Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, where Manage and delete cookies and site data provides blocking and clearing options.
Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode in which cookies are deleted automatically when the window closes, and most allow you to clear all browsing data for a chosen time range. Consult your browser's built-in help pages, searchable from its settings screen, for step-by-step instructions specific to your version.
10Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal to websites. No common industry standard for responding to Do Not Track has been adopted, so, like many services, we do not change our behavior in response to that signal at this time. Our practices remain the same for all visitors: we do not sell personal information and we do not permit cross-context behavioral advertising cookies on our services.
Newer browsers and extensions can send a Global Privacy Control signal, which some laws treat as a formal opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information in that sense, there is nothing further to opt out of, but where applicable law gives such a signal legal effect we will treat a valid Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for the browser from which it is sent.
11Consequences of Disabling Cookies
You can use much of our marketing site with all non-essential cookies disabled, and rejecting analytics or preference cookies will never block access to content you have paid for. Disabling cookies does have practical consequences, which differ by category:
- Strictly necessary cookies — if your browser blocks these entirely, you will not be able to sign in, stay signed in, or complete checkout, because session and security cookies are essential to those flows.
- Functional cookies — features such as recent-item lists and trial reminders will stop working or reset between visits.
- Preference cookies — your theme, language, time zone, and view settings will revert to defaults each time you return.
- Analytics cookies — the products will work normally, but your usage will not be reflected in the aggregate data we rely on to find problems and improve the services.
12Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add or retire cookies, adopt new technologies, or respond to changes in law.
